In my art, I strive to capture the raw energy of nature and its connection to our emotional landscape. Drawing on the mysticism and mythology of Iceland, I aim to create paintings that transport viewers to a dreamlike world, where the boundaries between reality and fantasy blur.
I find inspiration in the ever-changing landscape from my homeland Iceland, with its rugged terrain, powerful waterfalls, and mystical auroras. I love to experiment with unconventional materials and techniques, such as using Icelandic lava dust and salt, to create unique textures and effects .I also draw on my personal experiences and emotions, infusing each piece with a sense of raw emotion and intensity.

After sketching to find your vision, you'll dive into the delightful expressive process of crafting your own large painting. It's a unique and relaxed opportunity to let your creativity flow and bring your artistic dreams to life. Join us for an unforgettable experience!
Whats included: Various brushes, palette knives, and mark-making tools.
Acrylic paints in a variety of colours.
Oil pastels and pastels.

Paint-Friendly Attire: Expect a bit of messiness, so wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit of paint on. Comfortable shoes are a must!

Climate Consideration: Be prepared for a potentially chilly environment, as the building tends to be on the cool side.
Location Info: The closest transportation hub is Romsey. If you need a place to stay, Duke on the Test is just a 2-minute drive away.
Parking Perks: No need to worry about parking; there's plenty available right outside the studio.
Lunch Plans: You can either bring your own lunch, or if you prefer dining out, there's a pub just a mile away called Duke on the Test. For more options, Romsey Town Center is a short 2-mile trip, where you'll find an array of restaurants, shops, and bakeries to satisfy your cravings.
Early Arrival: We kindly request that you arrive 10 minutes before the session begins to ensure a smooth and enjoyable start to your creative adventure.
Please note: this experience isn't about producing impeccable works of art or being a seasoned painter. It's a delightful opportunity to express yourself, play around with art materials, and simply enjoy the process with a professional working artist. In the realm of abstract painting, there's no "right" or "wrong." Instead, it's a space where creativity knows no bounds, and you can't put a foot wrong.
As we embark on this artistic journey together, you'll find that your hands will instinctively move, and your thoughts will take a backseat. I'll be there to offer inspiration and gentle guidance throughout. Together, we'll learn the art of letting go, embracing the creative unknown, and witnessing the magic that unfolds before us. Given the unique nature of this event, involving the purchase of art supplies and canvases in advance, as well as limited space with only 8 available spots, we regret that we are unable to offer refunds once a purchase has been made. However, if you encounter unforeseen illness or an emergency, please reach out to us directly via annadora@live.co.uk. We may be able to transfer your ticket to a future event.
Artwork Collection:
You have the option to take your creations with you on the day of the event. Alternatively, you can collect them after 5 days once they've had a chance to dry. We can also arrange shipping at an additional cost if that's more convenient for you.
